Which vehicle for how many travellers?
The booking form shows the vehicle sizes available for your route and date. As a guide from the booking partner: a saloon takes up to three passengers, a minivan up to seven and a minibus up to twelve; the exact passenger and luggage limits are shown in each offer. Details for each size are on the pages for 8 passengers and 12 passengers. The total price applies to the whole vehicle, so the cost per person drops as the group grows.
Large groups: several vehicles, one plan
For more than twelve travellers, book several vehicles for the same arrival. If the group flies in on different flights, make one booking per flight number. That way each driver tracks the right plane, and nobody waits an hour for a delayed connection. Give each booking the mobile number of a group leader who knows who sits where.
Exhibitors and corporate groups
In trade fair weeks, the taxi rank at BER gets long and teams scatter across several cabs. A shared booking brings the stand crew to the hotel or straight to Messe Berlin together. Roll-ups, sample cases and laptop bags count as luggage, so list them. Payment runs through the booking, which makes one receipt per vehicle easy to pass to accounting. Count suitcases, not just people
A full minibus with twelve passengers has less room for luggage than its seat count suggests. Sports teams, choirs and school classes often travel with bags, instruments or equipment. Mention long or bulky items such as bike boxes, golf bags or music cases in the comment field, so the vehicle is planned with enough space in the back.
Where the group meets the driver
The driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or 2; the exact point is in your confirmation and on the meeting point page. Passengers from outside the Schengen area need extra time for passport control. A good routine: the group leader goes ahead, makes contact with the driver and gathers the others while luggage is collected.
Destinations where a minibus struggles
Old town lanes, pedestrian squares and tram streets in Mitte are harder for a larger vehicle than for a saloon car. Ask your hotel whether it has a coach bay or a side entrance, and add it to the booking. A wide street a few steps away is often faster than squeezing into a narrow lane.
