One contact person for the group
For group journeys it works well when one person makes the booking and is listed as the contact. That person receives the confirmation with the meeting point and contact details and can respond if there is a delay, instead of ten travellers asking the same question in parallel. Collect the actual headcount beforehand: additions on the day of travel can rarely be accommodated at short notice.
Priced per vehicle, not per head
A transfer is charged for the vehicle, a train ticket per person. The larger the group, the more that comparison shifts. Even so, no flat figure follows from it: the total depends on route, vehicle size, date and the terms of the offer, and is shown during booking. Compare the total cost for the whole group rather than the starting price. Searching for a Großraumtaxi, the German term for a large taxi, usually means this same vehicle class, though the label says nothing about whether the taxi tariff or a pre-confirmed price applies.
