Terminal 2 sits next to Terminal 1
Terminal 2 is immediately adjacent to Terminal 1 and is used depending on traffic volume, particularly in busy periods. It is a check-in and arrivals building without its own station: the airport railway station lies beneath Terminal 1, as does the central forecourt. Arriving at Terminal 2 therefore means walking over to the neighbouring building for the train and for many pickups.
Allow for the walk
Because Terminal 2 has no large forecourt of its own for vehicles collecting passengers, the meeting point for pre-booked rides is often set at Terminal 1. That is stated in the booking confirmation and is the normal procedure, not a mistake. Allow for the short walk between the buildings, particularly with a lot of luggage, small children, or if walking is difficult for you.
