About Kurfürstendamm
Kurfürstendamm is a long shopping and strolling boulevard in Berlin's City West. Hotels, shops and restaurants stretch across many blocks, making the building number especially useful for your arrival.

One boulevard, many addresses
Kurfürstendamm runs for several kilometres from the Memorial Church out to Halensee, continuing east as Tauentzienstraße. The low and the high house numbers are a good twenty minutes apart on foot. For a transfer the number matters more than the street name: a hotel at Adenauerplatz sits far further west than one at Breitscheidplatz. Many buildings on Kurfürstendamm also have their entrance on a side street such as Uhlandstraße, Knesebeckstraße or Fasanenstraße.
Stopping on a shopping street
Stopping is restricted along much of Kurfürstendamm, and the bus lanes are in use throughout the day. A vehicle will usually pull into a parking bay briefly or turn into the nearest side street. With larger luggage it helps to check in advance whether your hotel has its own driveway. Put that detail in the address field when booking, so your driver is not waiting at the wrong end of the boulevard.
