Website role

AirportTaxi.Berlin is an independent information and referral portal. An external booking partner handles booking, price calculation and transport; AirportTaxi.Berlin does not operate rides.

Website delivery and security

Requests transmit data including IP address, time, requested address, HTTP status, browser and operating system information to the hosting service. These data enable website delivery and security, based on the legitimate interest in reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs should be deleted once no longer needed for this purpose; security incidents may require purpose-limited retention.

Cookies and consent

Google Analytics is loaded only if you select “Accept” in the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (key atb_consent) for 180 days. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded. The external booking form is provided independently of this choice and may use its own third-party cookies.

External booking form

Pages with a booking option load the external booking form of the booking partner named in the legal notice on page visit, delivered through its affiliate network. IP address, browser data, page address and affiliate identifiers may be sent to the booking partner and its affiliate network. These providers may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide the form and attribute referred bookings, and may process data outside the EEA. The form is the core function of this referral portal (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). This website cannot control partner cookies after the form has loaded; you can block or delete third-party cookies in your browser settings, which may affect the form.

Maps (Google Maps)

Route pages show a map with the driving route from BER Airport. The map is loaded from Google Maps, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, when you open the page; for technical reasons loading is deferred until the map comes close to the visible area. Your IP address, browser data and the page you are on are transmitted to Google; Google may set cookies or similar identifiers and may process data outside the EEA. The basis is our legitimate interest in showing the route clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can prevent the embed by blocking third-party content or JavaScript in your browser; the rest of the page remains usable. For details of Google’s processing see the Google privacy policy.

Google Analytics

After you consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-BTSW4TEN4C, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data including page views, interactions, device and browser information and your IP address may be sent to Google and processed outside the EEA. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). The analytics code is not loaded without consent. Price and commission

The external booking partner calculates the total for the route, date, vehicle and booking. The website operator may receive commission on referred bookings.

Data flow through the booking widget

The widget embedded on booking pages is loaded from tpembd.com within the Travelpayouts infrastructure and connects this portal with the Welcome Pickups booking service. Technical access data may be sent to Travelpayouts as soon as the widget loads. Information subsequently entered in the form is transferred to Welcome Pickups and service providers used to calculate the price and handle the booking. The portal operator does not receive a copy of complete booking or payment details and does not maintain its own booking database.

Data categories may include IP address, time, referrer and page visited, browser and device information, affiliate identifiers such as shmarker, trs and campaign ID and – when the form is used – pickup, destination, date, time, flight details, passenger count, luggage, vehicle choice, name, email address, telephone number and payment information. The respective provider determines which data are processed in an individual case based on how the service is used.

Welcome Pickups – booking partner and controller of booking data

WELCOME TRAVEL TECHNOLOGIES HOLDINGS LTD, company no. 10879236, c/o Harrison Beale & Owen Seven Stars House, 1 Wheler Road, Coventry CV3 4LB, United Kingdom, operates the Welcome Pickups platform. Welcome Pickups is responsible for personal data processed for quotes, bookings, payment, customer accounts and support on its platform.

According to Welcome Pickups, this includes identity and contact details, pickup and travel data, communications, payment data, technical device and usage data, account and profile data and customer-service information. Processing is used for purposes including quoting, concluding and fulfilling a booking, communicating with you and the driver, payment, fraud prevention, customer support, legal obligations and, where permitted, improving the platform.

Welcome Pickups may provide necessary data to the assigned driver or local transport provider, payment, hosting, analytics, communications and other technical providers and to authorities where legally required. Its own notice explains retention, possible international transfers, safeguards and data-subject rights. Requests for access, correction, erasure or other rights relating to booking data should be addressed directly to Welcome Pickups.

Travelpayouts – technical widget and affiliate provider

Go Travel Un Limited, Hong Kong corporation no. 1658681, 4007 Central Plaza, 18 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, operates the Travelpayouts affiliate network. Travelpayouts provides the widget infrastructure and attributes a booking to this portal.

Loading and using the widget may involve processing the IP address, date and time, referrer or page visited, browser, operating system, device information, cookie or similar identifiers and partner, campaign and transaction identifiers. Purposes include delivering and operating the widget, security and abuse prevention, statistics and attributing and settling referred bookings. Where form entries are routed through Travelpayouts infrastructure, the booking data entered there may also be affected.

Travelpayouts is based in Hong Kong, so processing may take place outside the European Union and European Economic Area. Travelpayouts' own notices explain recipients, legal bases, retention, international transfers and data-subject rights. Privacy requests concerning this processing should be sent directly to Travelpayouts.

Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and the content of your message to handle the request. This relies on pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries (point (f)). The website has no enquiry form and does not store enquiries. Please do not send payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Recipients, international processing and retention

Hosting and communication providers receive data where necessary for operation and handling requests. The operator is in Thailand; the booking partner and its affiliate network may process data outside the EEA. International transfers are subject to Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. Ask the controller or booking partner for information about the applicable transfer grounds and safeguards. Enquiries are retained only as needed for handling, legal obligations or legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Consent can be withdrawn for the future. You may complain to a supervisory authority, particularly where you habitually reside, work or believe an infringement occurred.

FAQ assistant and anonymous statistics

The FAQ assistant evaluates your input locally in the browser to select a suitable stored answer. The message text is not sent to the operator and is not stored. Only an anonymous counter for recognised topics may be recorded; it contains no message text, IP address or personal identifier.

Local files and updates
