Stay at the agreed meeting point
The most common cause of a missed pickup is not the driver but a spontaneous change of place: leave the meeting point to look outside the terminal and you are elsewhere exactly when the driver arrives. So stay where the confirmation describes and use the contact option named there before you start moving.
Flight number, not just a time
Always give the flight number when booking, not only the scheduled landing time. That is the only way a delay can be recognised at all. How long the driver waits after landing, and what applies if the difference is larger, is set by the booking partner in its terms.
