Private pickup and booked transfer are different
Anyone collecting friends or family privately should follow BER’s current access and parking information. A pre-booked transfer instead follows the meeting point in the booking confirmation, which may differ from a general short-stay area or an informal pickup point.
Provide the flight number and terminal
The full flight number helps match the arrival, terminal and any delay. Check the flight status before travelling and do not change the agreed meeting point without coordinating with the driver or booking support.
Allow realistic waiting time
Landing, taxiing, baggage reclaim and customs take varying amounts of time. A transfer follows the confirmed waiting-time conditions; private collectors follow the airport’s current parking and access rules.
Leave enough room for people and bags
For a transfer, state every passenger, suitcase and bulky item so a suitable saloon, minivan or minibus can be planned before arrival.
